Our Chief Executive

Mark Blayney trained with PwC, helping to set up its initial business turnaround service Hand On Turnaround. 

An MBA and Chartered Accountant, as well as an ex Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, he went into industry before becoming a partner in a top 20 UK accountancy  firm to create an SME turnaround service.

He is a past member of both the Institute for Turnaround, and European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals, as well as an ex Director of the UK Turnaround Management Association, and with a 30+ years career in the UK turnaround arena he is well connected within the industry, vital for sourcing appropriate skills and team members for cases.

He is also an investment partner with boutique restructuring firm K2 Partners, TRI Awards Turnaround Firm of the Year 2022 as well as a well respected business author having produced a range of key books for SME business owners and directors.
